- Use durable finishing methods with these clasps, since they have an extremely strong hold!
- Pay attention to the underlying material of your chain or other stringing material. Steel-based chain will stick to magnetic clasps, which can be interesting, but is generally not preferred.
- Magnetic clasps should be opened by holding the clasp directly, instead of tugging the cord. A "twist-slide" motion works better than pulling the clasp halves straight apart, especially with TierraCast and Superior Quality magnetic clasps.
