Screw Eyes are often glued into wooden charms and pendants. They are also excellent for resin jewelry (before or after curing), and can be used with half-drilled beads with a hole size of approximately 1mm. Occasionally we also have key eyes -- they are similar to screw eyes, but have a flat peg. Key eyes are normally embedded into resin jewelry before curing.
Our embeddable eyelets are primarily for use with metal clays (before firing). Use .999 fine silver embeddable eyelets with Art Clay Silver and PMC. Use raw Copper eyelets with COPPRclay, and use Bronze eyelets with BRONZclay. The bottom edge of the loop must be embedded in the metal clay. (The stem should not show or it will create a weak spot.)
