Swarovski Trio of Opulent Earrings Tutorial

Designer Tips

For the dragon drop earrings, use a ball-end head pin, and add an elongated baroque crystal pearl, a 4mm crystal bead, a dragon bead, and another crystal bead. Form a simple loop, and add ear wire.

For the coin pearl and teardrop earrings, use a ball-end head pin, and add an Opulent teardrop bead, a 4mm crystal bead, a baroque coin pearl, and a final 4mm crystal bead. Form a simple loop, and add ear wire.

Sterling silver, titanium or stainless steel ear wires of your choice.

Tools

Optional: 1-Step Looper
Optional: Multi-pliers (these are nifty time and space savers, but are a bit heavier than individual pairs of pliers, and take a little practice)
Optional: beading mat -- keep beads from rolling away as you work!
Round-nose pliers, or one of the tools above, are necessary for creating loops.
Wire cutters are necessary, for cutting head and eye pins to the proper length, if you are using round-nose pliers to make your loops.
Chain-nose pliers are the best for opening and closing loops without marring wire.
