Ring Around the Rosies Earring Tutorial

The TierraCast Dulce Vida rings are reversible, with a different design on each side. If you wish the earrings to match, face the rings in the same direction during assembly.

Designer Tips

Make 6 "2-bead" wrapped loop dangles with each of the 4 and 5mm styles of beads topped with a 2mm gold filled bead (18 dangles total). Set aside. For step-by-step instructions on making wrapped loops, Jewelry Basics 101 (PDF)
Make 2 "1-bead" wrapped loop dangles with just a 4mm blue crazy lace bead.
Add an appropriately sized jump ring to each of the rivoli pendants and an additional smaller jump ring for directionality.
Assemble earring:
Add a large jump ring to the 3/4" ring, and attach 1 of each color 2-bead dangle, and the rivoli pendant.
Add 2 larger jump rings to connect this to the 5/8" ring, and attach an extra jump ring with 1 of each color 2-bead dangle attached.
Using 2 more larger jump rings, connect the 5/8" ring to the 1/2" ring, and attach an extra jump ring with 1 of each color 2-bead dangle attached.
Using a large jump ring, add the 1-bead dangle to the small 1/2" ring, and then connect to the earwire with an additional ring.
Repeat for other earring, matching jump ring sizes for consistency, and ensuring that the earrings hang in the correct direction.
