Strike of Midnight Brooch Necklace Tutorial
Created by Sondra Barrington and Mollie Valente
Designer Tips
Brush Crafter's Pick adhesive on back of glass tile. Adorn the image with glitter. Glue the back of the tile to the front of the image (so the image appears through the glass). Once the glue dries, trim with a hobby knife.
Punch a hole near the bottom the timepiece, as pictured.
Use 2-part Epoxy to attach the glass tile to the timepiece, and to attach the bar pin to the back.
Use Crafter's Pick adhesive to attach the rhinestone chain around glass tile (if needed, trim to length). Beading tweezers are helpful.
One or more parts (or tools) used in this project are no longer available, so we've moved the whole project into the "Misc Jewelry Tutorials with Issues" area while we decide what we want to do about it: find a good sub, re-make this project, or retire the tutorial.
This pin can easily double as a pendant. Slide the brooch converter onto the bar bin. Add French wire keepers to the pin, to help prevent the pin from sliding around on the converter. Add a chain and it is ready to wear!
