The crystal at the end of the headpin is perpendicular to the pin. Grasp the pin with flat-nose pliers directly above the crystal and bend 90 degrees, so the splash of crystal color will be more visible inside the calla lily.
Thread headpin through from the inside of the calla lily bead, and wire wrap the remaining length of wire on the outside of the lily. (See wire-wrapped loop and simple loop instructions in Jewelry Basics 101 PDF).
Add a 4mm round gold plated bead and a 4mm ruby bicone crystal bead to a standard eye pin. Make a simple loop, and finish assembling earrings as shown.
Crystal head pins are available in a variety of colors; choose pins and crystal beads to match or contrast.
