The shamrock (or 3-leaf clover) is one of the main symbols of Ireland. Tradition says that St. Patrick used the shamrock as a symbol of the Christian trinity because of its customary three leaves (trefoil foliage). We don't always have shamrocks available, but when we do, they'll be here.
Although we added clovers to this page, we do understand that 4-leaf clovers, while a symbol of luck, are not the same as shamrocks (which specifically have 3 leaves). Clover, while usually considered a weed in the US, is actually a very beneficial plant in the yard, and before the 1950's was commonly included in lawn seed mixtures.
Of course, we all know that when you find a four-leaf clover, you're in for extra good luck!
