Rudraksha and Rosewood Beads and Malas
Similar to a rosary, a mala is a strand of 108 beads (plus one "summit" bead) used to count prayers or mantras.
Rudraksha (or Rudraksh) Beads from Rings & Things, popular for making Malas: These reddish-brown beads are seeds of the fruit of rudraksha trees, and commonly have 5 mukhis (faces of the bead).
Rosewood Malas from Rings & Things are strung on nylon cord with a small tassel end. We recommend restringing the beads before using them for meditation. Handmade: size, shape, color, cord and length will vary.
