Bracelet Finding, Cuff, 1/4"
- Raw copper is unplated, and may not be as shiny and smooth as most plated finishes.
- To remove tarnish, use copper cleaner, a polishing cloth, or fine grit (1000 - 1500) sandpaper.
- To remove rough edges and give a beautiful high polish to raw copper items, tumble-polish them with steel shot, water and a burnishing compound in a rock tumbler.
- To create an antiqued look on raw copper, apply an oxidizing solution. This works especially well to bring out the details in any texturing or stamping you've added.
