Raw Brass Jewelry-Making Supplies
Raw (unplated) brass is not as shiny as most plated finishes but can work well for matching for gold plated metal. Raw brass can be made shinier by tumble-polishing with steel shot, water and burnishing compound in a rock tumbler. To give raw brass an antiqued look, antiquing solution or patinas can be used. Raw brass will also develop a natural patina, over time.
