Pi Day Necklace Tutorial
Pi Day is celebrated on March 14 (3/14) every year by geeks, math enthusiasts, and people looking for a good excuse to celebrate a day in March eating pie. I am guilty of all 3, so here's my annual Pi Day necklace.

Designer Tips
This necklace does not require any tools or jewelry-making experience!
Simply squeeze to pop open the hoop, then slide on a nice mixed-metal combination of TierraCast nugget heishi beads, and as you add each number or the pi symbol, make sure they all face the correct direction.
Use 3 heishi beads between each charm, to space the charms apart so people can read the characters. Without them, the charms clump up and overlap each other.
Pop the hoop closed, and slide the top loop onto a ball chain necklace. Ball chain, made of tiny spheres, is the ideal chain for Pi Day. (You could also use Rolo chain, but that's a bit more work.)
