Crafted Findings 1/16" Long Reach Piercing and Rivet Setting
The opening on the long reach riveting tool is 0.20" (5mm) taller than the standard riveting tool to accommodate taller / thicker pieces. Punch components used with the standard size tool and long reach tool are NOT interchangeable, with one exception: You can use long reach accessories in the standard size body. (Standard size accessories are too short to fit in the Long Reach body.)

Long Reach rivet piercing/setting tool by Crafted Findings. Screw-action tool with two functions: one end pierces a 1/16" hole for the rivet and the other end flares/sets the 1/16"-diameter rivet. Pierces up to 12-gauge soft metals; do not use on steel thicker than 22 gauge. Includes 28-piece sample pack of 1/16" diameter semi-tubular rivets, hex key wrench (for installing different sizes of piercing and setting dies) and instructions. Made from heat-treated tool steel. Rivets items 0.5mm to 11mm (1/32" – 7/16") thick. When using rivets longer than 9/32" (5/16", 11/32", 3/8", 13/32", 7/16", 15/32"), use these Long Reach tools rather than the original height tool set.
This tool is wonderful for riveting. The rivets are small and very smooth when finished.

The 1/16" long-reach piercing/riveting tool is the most useful riveting base tool. It's about .25" taller than the original 1/16" riveting tool, which allows you to rivet a wider variety of jewelry creations.
