Ocean Mist Feather Bracelet Tutorial
Created by: Rita Hutchinson
Designer Tips
Use reliefing block on feather charm to remove excess antiquing. Lightly apply Vintaj patina and allow to dry. Remove excess patina with reliefing block.
Use round nose pliers to form a tight loop by turning the shaft of the feather to the back.
Use bracelet bending pliers to shape feather to top of wrist.
Cut a comfortable length of beading wire. Add crimp to one end, string through the loop you made on the feather and back through the crimp. Use standard crimp pliers to lock in place.
Add gemstone and faceted spacer beads in desired pattern to desired length. This example contains 4-1/2" of beads, and the finished bracelet length is about 8-1/4".
Finish other end with medium-small jump ring and clasp, and lock in place with crimp pliers.
Add large jump ring to hole in feather charm.

One or more parts (or tools) used in this project are no longer available, so we've moved the whole project into the "Misc Jewelry Tutorials with Issues" area while we decide what we want to do about it: find a good sub, re-make this project, or retire the tutorial.
Tips, Continued
Cover crimps with crimp covers (the rounding section of the mighty crimper works well for this step).
