These earrings are easy to assemble, yet put on a great show.
Use 10mm jump rings to connect each link, and another 10mm jump ring to attach the dagger bead to the smallest link. For best control, use 1 pair of traditional chain-nose pliers, and 1 pair of bent chain-nose pliers to open and close the jump rings. The 10mm jump rings have an 8mm inside diameter, large enough to let the links dangle freely.
Attach the post to the largest link with a smaller 8mm jump ring.
Use an earring nut with a plastic flange (such as #33-284-1). The flange keeps heavy earrings flat to the ear.

At the time that I made these earrings, we didn't yet have the matching Hammertone drop-posts. I can't actually decide which pair I like better as toppers for these earrings....
