Reddish-rust colored goldstone beads offer a brilliant flash with inclusions of copper crystals! Sometimes mistaken for orange-colored sunstone beads, these gemstone beads are actually manmade from glass with added copper salts. Through a unique cooling process, the copper salts turn into copper crystals, creating semiprecious beads with a special gleam. The name "goldstone" comes from the story that the gemstone was created when Italian monks tried making gold out of base ingredients (alchemy). Goldstone is believed to store the energy of those who touch it, making it an excellent gift for loved ones who are far away.
