Designer Tips
String onto one head pin: 1 - 4mm cube bead, 1 - 10mm #3700, 1 - 8mm #3700, 1 - 6mm #3700, and 1- 3mm metallic bicone bead.
Make a simple loop (or a wire wrapped loop). New to jewelry-making? See step-by-step instructions for making wire loops: Jewelry Basics 101 - PDF.
Repeat to create a total of 6 tree charms.
To duplicate the pattern shown here, slide on 13 - 3mm bicones of one color, 1 - 4mm gold bicone, 1 - tree charm, 1 - 4mm gold bicone, 14 - final 3mm bicones.
Grip the round end of the wire with flat-nose pliers, and bend about 2mm of the tip up 90-degrees. This holds the beads in place, and "clicks" into the drilled end of the beading hoop.

Want to skip the cube "tree trunks"? -- Just add a 4th row (with a 12mm #3700) to the tree instead.
If one color of 3mm gold bicone ("star") is unavailable, pick another shade of gold, silver, red... anything that strikes your fancy and would look pretty on top of a tree!
If you love the tree idea, but want to use different beads for the hoop itself, E beads are a colorful, inexpensive glass bead option.

We'll try to keep this project updated with options that are currently available, but that will become more difficult over the coming months, as Swarovski exits the DIY market, and their sparkling crystal beads and components go out of production.
