Foiled Again Bracelet Tutorial
This colorful bracelet is so much fun to make and wear!
Created by: Rita Hutchinson
Designer Tips
Drop alcohol inks and mixatives onto blending tool, and apply directly to foil. Allow foil to dry completely.
Insert colored foil into embossing folder and run through Big Shot machine (follow included manufacturer instructions for proper stacking).
Without removing foil from the folder, use reliefing block to remove most of the ink from high points.
Remove foil from folder, measure inside of bracelet channel, and cut foil to match.
Gently open the overlapped end portion of the bracelet with flat nose pliers.
Remove backing from foil, center foil strip over bracelet and press into place. (Trim ends if needed). Gently squeeze the overlapping end section back into place. Use a popsicle stick or other soft tool to ensure the edges of the foil piece are secured.

One or more parts (or tools) used in this project are no longer available, so we've moved the whole project into the "Misc Jewelry Tutorials with Issues" area while we decide what we want to do about it: find a good sub, re-make this project, or retire the tutorial.
When ordering alcohol inks, heed the Shipping Alert and remember to select UPS Ground during checkout to avoid order delays, and to see your correct shipping price.
The Vintaj Big Kick, the Sizzix Big Shot Jewelry Studio, and related dies are no longer in production. However, for the 1000’s of people who already own one of these (or similar) tools, we’ve kept this project up. Plus, embossed jewelry can be made with many other methods, from inexpensive styluses, to $3,000 rolling mills, and leather can be cut with a basic utility knife and/or a hobby knife.
