Attach tassel to bottom (already open) loop of 2-loop rivoli setting. See Jump Ring Hint in Jewelry Basics 101 (PDF) for best way to open and close loops, and make wire-wrapped loops (next step).
Cut approx. 1 foot off the spool of wire. At one end, make a wire-wrapped loop through the top loop of the setting.
One or more parts (or tools) used in this project are no longer available, so we've moved the whole project into the "Misc Jewelry Tutorials with Issues" area while we decide what we want to do about it: find a good sub, re-make this project, or retire the tutorial.
Add the arrow bead above the loop, then add approximately 15 of the beaded daisy spacer beads and form them into a bail loop over the ball chain. ** Use enough spacer beads so the bail loop is large enough for the ball chain to slide through. ** Test sliding it along the chain before you finalize the next step. Add/subtract spacer beads as necessary.
To close the loop, wrap a few coils of wire just above the top of the arrow bead. Trim excess wire, and tuck final coil in neatly using pliers.
Use the full 30" of the gunmetal-plated ball chain necklace, or cut the chain shorter if desired. We think tassels are best worn long!
