Make sure the shells are turned the same way. They are not symmetrical.
When adding the Cowrie beads, pull the cord behind each bead, and pull tight, to keep the bead securely in place.
S-lon is very light, thin, and more difficult to macrame than hemp cord. Knotting tweezers help, along with folding the cord in half when feeding the end through a knot.

Separating the ends of the cord with a needle makes a nice tassel.
Because S-Lon has a very smooth, slightly slippery finish, it needs some assistance to stay together at the end knots. We do NOT recommend using this cord for a Shamballa-style adjustable bracelet. You will need to burn or glue the ends (or both!), or leave very long ends.
