Classic Bridal Bracelet Tutorial
Created by: Summer Melaas
Use cable thimble (wire guard) and crimp lobster clasp to one side of 2 feet of Soft Flex wire. For step-by-step crimping instructions, see Cable Thimbles/Wire Guardians section of Jewelry Basics 101 (PDF).
String on 1 rondelle crystal, 14 crystal pearls.
String one 3mm bicone and one rondelle crystal. Repeat approx. 15 times, ending with a bicone.
Add 14 crystal pearls and 1 rondelle crystal.
Add large heart link to cable thimble, and tighten bracelet in circumference form (not straight), so it's the right tension, then use crimping pliers to crimp securely.
One or more parts (or tools) used in this project are no longer available, so we've moved the whole project into the "Misc Jewelry Tutorials with Issues" area while we decide what we want to do about it: find a good sub, re-make this project, or retire the tutorial.
Designer Tips, Continued
Use 24g wire and one bicone crystal to create a wire-wrapped link, linking large heart link to medium heart link (see Jewelry Basics 101).
Repeat to link the medium heart link to the small heart link.
Attach the pear pendant to the end of the small heart link with a jump ring.
Swarovski Pearl Tip:
To string your pearls quicker you can place a small batch of pearls in between two fingers while still on the thread. Slide them off the thread and you will be able to slide the wire right into all the beads in your fingers. If you are having trouble, try the opposite side of the pearl. Swarovski pearls have a larger hole on one side.
