What is Beadalon?

• Durable, flexible, multistrand twisted wire with a smooth abrasion-resistant nylon coating.
• Very easy to use - no needle required. Instead of knotting, finish the ends with crimp beads.
• Kink resistant: the higher the strand count, the better the resistance. 7-strand is similar to other brands of tigertail but has a smoother coating, and 19-strand is even more supple than 7-strand.
• For best durability use the largest diameter that fits your beads, and the largest number of strands (7, 19 or 49) that fit your budget.
• Beadalon does not stretch, even with heavy beads. Great for crystal necklaces, gemstones, handmade glass beads and anything that you want to last for decades.

• Exception: Most crimp tubes won't hold on 0.010 and 0.012 when closed with crimping pliers. Either flatten with regular pliers, or use size 1 crimp tubes with micro crimping pliers.

• Beadalon colors and finishes

• Bright Steel,the original Beadalon color, is clear nylon over bright stainless steel.
• Black: black nylon over steel.
• Blue, purple, pink, red and green "clear coats" are translucent colored nylon coatings over steel.
• Bronze: clear coating over bronze-colored steel.
• Gold plate: 24kt gold-plated steel with a clear coating.
• Silver plate: silver-plated steel with a clear coating .
• Gold color: clear coating over a gold-colored tarnish-resistant alloy.
• Silver color: clear coating over a silver-plated tarnish-resistant alloy.
• Silver Satin, Gold Satin and Copper Satin are steel with special colored matte nylon coatings for a soft, silky and more flexible feel.
• .925 Sterling Beadalon: solid, not plated, sterling silver wire with a clear coating.
