TierraCast Antiqued Brass Plated Leather Rivets, 3/32" dia
How to set Rapid Rivets, TierraCast rivets and other popular 2-part rivets for leather:
Punch and layer the components to be riveted, run the rivet stem through the layers (from the bottom), and set on an anvil or block. Set the rivet cap over the rivet stem, and place the curved end of a rivet setter over the cap. Use a brass hammer to strike the rivet setter firmly, but not so hard that you bend the rivet. Check to make sure it's secure. (Tap again if it's not.)

TierraCast® brass plated leather rivets. Each compression rivet set includes a 4mm cap (2.4mm diameter) and a 5mm post (1.8mm diameter). Compression rivets are sometimes called snap rivets, and work great for layering leather (or denim) and metal together. Antiqued Brass is darker than raw brass and goes well with just about any color. Punch a hole approximately 3/32" -- exact hole size varies depending on the material you are using. Questions?
