          Glossary

Hmmm... We're not sure what happened to the text on this page! It's supposed to be a glossary of common jewelry-making terms that might be unfamiliar to people new to the jewelry-making industry: Terms like the unit of measure: gross (1 gross is 144 pieces, also known as 12 dozen. 1/2-gross is 72 pieces, or 6 dozen).
While we try to track down or recreate the text that evaporated during a website upgrade, please see below for:

          • Glossary of bead shapes
          • Spanish / English glossary of jewelry-making terms
          • A glossary of jewellery-related terms that we've found may differ from one side of the Atlantic to the other. This list may help you find what you're looking for in product searches on the other side of the pond.

Our Metals 101 page also has a bunch of useful definitions and explanations.
