Handy Flame Butane Torch #69-620

SKU 69-620
The Handy Flame torch head attaches directly to 8 oz. Butane fuel canisters which are available in most hardware stores, camping/outdoor stores, or in our showroom (sorry, due to shipping restrictions, fuel canisters / butane refills cannot be ordered online). This torch head is adjustable and can produce a large "bushy" flame (up to 2375F), which makes it great for enameling, soldering and annealing. It even works up-side-down! One touch ignition, compact and lightweight. Purchase fuel separately. Simply push and turn, to snap the fuel canister onto the torch head.

Pros & Cons of Handy Flame torch head vs. Micro torches:

  • Larger, bushy flame is great for enameling and annealing.
  • Works up-side-down!
  • Attaches directly to 8oz butane cannisters -- this gives you many hours of work, with no need to stop and refill.
  • Triple-refined fuel is not easy to find in 8oz cannisters, so torch head may eventually gum up and need to be replaced.

Bad lock

by Foxheathen| 5/22/2018 0:00:00

I followed all safety precautions and the torch was not locked properly and spit butane when upside down. Luckily i realized this quickly. It felt like the lock had worked and everything was fine, until it wasn't. Wont buy again. Needs a safety to gaurantee lock and properly.

Excellent Torch

I use this for making jewelry of all kinds and have never had any problems in the 4 years I've been using it. It is also very economical and so much better than the mini butane torches.
