Great wire
I love this wire for making short links of chain.

Almost permanent, but not quite
I love how easy Artistic Wire is to work with. A couple of things to note: their "gunmetal" looks more like antiqued brass, and the coating - while very durable and much better quality than most craft wire - it not truly permanent. If you intend to heavily hammer and manipulate your wire, go with an uncoated wire and patina it when you are done.
