A Tip on Using Silver Plated Amate Studios Bezels

On plated Amate Studios bezels, the plating is applied after hand-soldering is complete to create a more uniform finish.

Baking, firing or otherwise applying heat may cause this plating to melt and/or discolor. For best results with polymer clay, do not bake your designs in silver plated Amate Studios findings. Instead, shape your piece to fit then bake it alone and glue it into the bezel after it has cooled.

Potential 4 Petite Customers

by MLD| 7/8/2021 0:00:00

Wanted to try this out for myself before I offer for my Petite Clients. My wrist Measures 5 1/2" below wrist bone toward hand & 5 1/4". Not one company has anything to fit Petites, does not even carry "children's sizes" - which is a market you (& others) are missing out on. It would be So Nice to Buy Smaller Sizes ! This Bracelet can be made a smaller size by using something to keep the shape while pushing in closer. I'm looking at the 5.1mm double link soldered Gunmetal chain as a quick option for closure, or something I've made. There is a small mark in the top loop, but it looks like something I could do with my pliers.
