Old company gets new digs

SPOKANE, WA, May 2005 – After 33 years in business, jewelry supplies wholesaler Rings & Things has moved into its own building. The 28,000-square-foot warehouse in downtown Spokane, WA, is nearly double the company's previous space. It boasts free customer parking, a souped-up showroom and, best of all, room to grow. Owners Russ Nobbs and Dee Mueller purchased the structure in summer 2004, and spent the next year renovating and customizing the space. Their 75 employees are already making strides with the full photo studio, large shipping dock and more-accessible storage for the company's 15,000+ items. As it grew and evolved, the company occupied several locations around downtown Spokane, most recently a 15-year stint on the 9th floor of a department store building.
