New beadable & creatable findings from Rings & Things

Rings & Things Wholesale introduces a full line of customizable utensil findings. This range of party-table accessories opens up new possibilities to lampworkers and others, for showcasing their artisan beads.

For the hors d'oeuvres at the buffet table, a 4.5" broad-bladed canapé knife is offered. This item makes it possible to feature several beads, sporting a 41mm (1.6") beadable rod. A new five-inch-long appetizer fork has a 29mm (1.1") screw-on section for adding beads.

Wine lovers will appreciate newly introduced accoutrements, ready for personalizing. A bottle opener finding is now available, with a 56mm (2.2") beadable shaft. For preserving the quality of wine once uncorked, a range of stylistic options come in the form of long and short beadable-stem bottle stoppers and a "creatable" stopper ready to sport added dangles or charms.

This entire range of customizable findings is lead-free and nickel-free, making them appropriate for food and drink use. These findings work perfectly with beads handmade on a 3/32" mandrel (with 2.5-2.7mm holes). Also perfect are pairings a large variety of ready-made items: large-hole gemstone beads, metal heishi-style beads, sterling silver rotund beads, metal-core lampwork beads, and 18mm Swarovski puffed rondelles. Also appropriate for use with these "beadables" are large-hole bead caps and spacer beads.
