Make a Colorful Difference with Fair-Trade Beads

Create beautiful jewelry with beads that help a beautiful cause! Fair-trade paper beads are lightweight, colorful and economical, making them perfect for a wide variety of summer jewelry and year-round designs. Hand-rolled from long strips of paper, the completed beads are dipped in resin lacquer for increased durability. Best yet, part of the bead-sale profits go to humanitarian projects in communities where the beads are made. Click here to find out more. More About These Paper Beads

Our fair-trade paper beads come from Change for Children, a program that helps rural Ugandan women who have little access to education, infrastructure or gainful employment. The women make paper beads using local materials. Selling these beads gives Ugandan women both the financial resources and mental empowerment to provide for themselves, their children and their communities.

Change for Children not only purchases the beads at a fair price, but also gives back 10% of its gross profits to humanitarian projects working within the communities where these beads are made.
