- Cheapest (Least Expensive) International Shipping Option:
Post Office First Class International/Priority Mail®
International. 4-10 days estimated shipping time. Packages under 4 lbs. ship First
Class International. Packages
over 4 lbs. ship Priority Mail International. You can confirm Post Office Priority Mail International online.
Note regarding eligibility: Packages with an actual value of over $400 (US) before shipping costs are not eligible for

- Time estimates: All shipping time estimates, including
for guaranteed services, are dependent on normal customs
clearance.
- "Craft supplies" is the description we use to declare
our products on customs forms for most countries. German
and Canadian customers, see below for information
on customs descriptions to your country.
- Value: The cost of your merchandise with no added fees
is the total value declared to customs on all orders. For
security reasons,
FedEx and UPS display the value in bar codes, so it can be seen only
by the shipper and customs.
- If you have customs questions, call your local customs
office. They have the most current and specific information
for the country where you are.

Other
General Information
|
For special information
about shipments to certain countries, see our individual
country specifics below.
- Insurance: Insurance is added to all orders. Insurance
costs vary depending on method of shipment and value of
contents.
- Taxes & Duties: These are charges that some countries
apply to certain goods coming into their countries. These
are designed
to help balance the world economy, by adding costs onto specific goods
as they are imported. Small
value shipments going through the Post Office often do not get taxed.
- Certificates of Origin: Goods made in NAFTA countries
(USA, Canada & Mexico) are tax and duty free
to import
into another
NAFTA country. If you do not live in a NAFTA country, but will sell
your goods in one, a certificate of origin
can be useful when you export your goods. We can include certificates of origin with orders sent to non-NAFTA
countries
upon request. For UPS and Fedex orders shipping to Canada and Mexico, we automatically include a
certificate of origin.
- Package Weight: Orders over 70 lbs. might be split into separate
packages. We rarely ship packages over 70 lb. for
the safety of our
employees (and for your safety and comfort upon arrival). Thank you
for understanding.
- Other Shipping Options: If you have a specific shipping
method that you know works best for you, but is not listed on
our website, let us know. If possible, we will set it up for you. This might take an extra day.

International
Payment Options
|
- Credit Card: Normally, using Visa, MasterCard, American
Express or Discover is the quickest and easiest way to pay
when ordering
from Rings & Things. The first
time you use a credit card with us, we might request a faxed copy
of the
front and back, along with valid picture ID.
- Wire Transfer is another popular payment method for international
orders. If you do not have a credit card, please
email
our orders department for more information about wire transfers.
The disadvantage to wire transfer is that
it cannot be completed online
via our website. You have to go to your bank to initiate a wire transfer. Rates may vary
from bank to bank, and country to country.
- Freight Collect (or Bill Recipient): If you have an account
with FedEx or UPS, we can charge your shipping costs to
your account.
The stock portion of your order (beads & other jewelry supplies)
must be paid for by credit card or
wire transfer (see above). To bill
your freight account, we will need your 9-character FedEx account number,
or your
6-character UPS account number.

delivery for Standard service. The Post Office does not charge brokerage fees. (Other UPS services already
include brokerage fees in the upfront rate).

to import
into another
NAFTA country. We automatically create certificates of origin for UPS and FedEx orders shipping

articles of costume jewelry." Invoices will list full description, quantity and cost.

to import into another
NAFTA
country. We automatically create certificates of origin for UPS and FedEx orders shipping from the USA to Mexico.
