2 #37-189-9 13.5mm round jump rings, gunmetal
1 #37-167-9 8mm round jump ring, gunmetal
2 #49-600-20 2" dog tags, stainless steel
1 #44-940-48-AS 25x15x3.5mm TierraCast� pin up girl charm, antiqued silver plate
1 pkg #61-890-02 Hollow wire mesh tubing, black
1 pkg #61-890-44 Hollow wire mesh tubing, olive
1 #43-008-9 8x17mm hook clasp, gunmetal

Tools and supplies: flush cutters, flat-nose pliers, patina such as Win-Ox� (#86-343), Crafter's Pick� The Ultimate adhesive (#60-280), #0000 steel wool

TIPS:
* Slide mesh over dog tag and secure with a knot in the back and use a dab of glue to adhere the knot to the back of the mesh.
* Use steel wool to roughen the surfaces of the dog tags and charm. Patina the dog tags, pin-up girl charm and the jumbo jump ring.
* Use Crafter's Pick� The Ultimate adhesive to glue the pin-up girl to the mesh covered dog tag.

Design Option:
The chain can also be worn as a bracelet. Simply unclip the dog tags, wrap the chain around your wrist several times and connect the jump ring and hook clasp.

In Hawaiian mythology, Aikanaka (or Ai Kanaka) is a mortal man who married Lona, the moon goddess. This tribute to Hawaiian lore captures the essence of the culture with real vertebrae and bamboo beads.
