TIP: The toggle clasp fits quite snugly into its loops. Adding a small oval jump ring to the �T� portion will help it squeeze into place more easily.

TIPS:
*To create textured, domed brass disks; first punch a hole in the center, hammer design, and then dome using a dapping block and punches (#69-199).

Tools and supplies: scissors, chain-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, side cutters, crimping pliers, chasing hammer, utility hammer, antiquing solution such as Win-Ox� (#86-343), 1/8" alphanumeric stamp set (#69-241-01), dapping block (#69-199), hole punch (#69-233), bench block (#69-123)

TIPS:
Stamp the metal disk with the letters of the four compass points. Dome and patina.

* To create the flat-bar links, cut four 2" pieces of 14-gauge copper wire. Hammer one end of each wire flat, punch a small hole and add beads, as pictured. Repeat hammering and hole punching on the second side.

* For an antiqued look, patina the charms and flat bar links.

TIPS:
For a 3-strand braid, cut three times the length of beading cable as the finished length. The necklace pictured uses three 18" pieces of stringing cable.

The designer laminated two custom collage images to create a reversible necklace.

The heart portions of the heart-shaped toggle clasps are used as a design element.

Weave the flattened long and short chain through the rings of the flat-ring chain.
