2 #01-122-12-45 CRYSTALLIZED� 12mm round rivoli stones, olivine
2 #30-292-1 15mm pad cuff links, white

Tools and supplies: adhesive such as Epoxy 330 (#60-230)

TIP: Create a stable gluing surface using a cardboard box. Turn the box over and poke two holes in the box with a pen or other sharp object. Insert the cuff link into the hole, so pad lies flat on the surface of the cardboard.

Turn any flat-back items into custom cuff links! Glue on coins, handmade glass cabochons, polymer clay tiles or unique found items. Perfect steampunk accessories! (The glass cabochons pictured here are from etherealgirls' etsy shop.)

Use glue or soft solder to affix your items to these cuff links.

Bobby Pins with Buttons

Rings & Things' version of our "favorite things."

30-822-1 10mm round-pad bobby pins
Your choice of assorted buttons (or brads/grommets).

We suggest using flush cutters (#65-507) to remove button shanks.

Do you have a box of old buttons lying around that you just couldn't bear to part with because they were so cute? Are they sitting there collecting dust? How about collecting compliments instead! Grab some super glue and some round-pad bobby pins and start raking in those flattering comments. It's easy and affordable. Just think � you'll be cleaning and creating at the same time! (You can also use scrapbook brads/grommets and achieve the same look as the design shown without having to remove the button's shank.)

Large French Barrette with Found Items

This barrette was created from black polymer clay and the upcycled "reject" pieces that Nicole sorted out during re-packaging a few masses of iridescent Czech beads. She embedded the glass pieces in the polymer clay, smoothed the clay up over the edges of the glass a little ways to hold the glass in, then baked the polymer clay according to package directions.

Nickel-Free French barrette backs are available in a variety of sizes. The designer used E-6000 to attach the barrette back to the fired polymer clay piece.
