*NOTE: Beginning in 2009, Swarovski is replacing their 5301 faceted bicone crystal style with their new 5328 faceted XILION bicone bead. Either style of bicone works well for this design.

Tools and supplies: shears (#69-230), flat-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers, two-hole metal punch (#69-235), alphabet stamps (#69-240-00-L), patina such as liver of sulfur gel (#86-324) or Win-Ox� (#86-343)

TIP: Create stamped metal tag from 24-gauge sterling sheet or use a 22mm round sterling tag (#44-750-20 ).

Tools and supplies: chain-nose pliers, 2 hole metal punch (#69-235), chasing hammer (#69-134), shears (#69-230), saw (#69-170), heavy metal file, tiny screw and nut from hardware store, Mod Podge�, image from ARTchix Studio (www.artchixstudio.com)

TIPS:
Punch holes with metal punch to start the windows in the door.
Use Mod Podge to seal and glue the image.
Doorknob created using a tiny screw and nut found in the hardware store. File down the extra length of the screw.

The back-to-back filigrees create a cool three-dimensional effect. Try "caging" various 6mm round, faceted gemstone beads for their healing qualities

Pea pod how-to:
Cut a leaf-shaped metal piece from the copper sheet. Stamp and hammer a design of your choice. Punch a small hole at each end of the leaf shape. With non-serrated flat-nose pliers, bend and shape the leaf into a pea pod. String a copper head pin through the bottom punched hole and add the crystal pearls in this order: 6mm, 8mm, 8mm, and 6mm. As you string on the pearls, gently curve the head pin point towards the upper hole in the pea pod and string it through. Bend the head pin into a loop and add a jump ring.
