TIPS:
* Create 1 chain strand. The designer used concave bending pliers to form nice round wrapped loops for three 12mm jade connectors, eight 8mm jade connectors and 2 crystal dangles. Use 8mm jump rings to connect the 12mm jade connectors. Attach the dangles to the chain using 4.5mm round jump rings.
* Create 1 knotted strand by separating each bead with a knot, using the repeating pattern: 9 pearls, 1 crystal, one 8mm jade bead, and 1 crystal. Repeat this pattern 6 times, ending with 9 pearls.
* A second knotted strand uses knots to separate groupings of disk beads, crystals, and gemstones.
* Knotting can be done by hand or with a cord knotter. The key to good knotting is to make sure the knot is as close to the beads as possible, so the beads don’t move.
* The designer uses crimping pliers to round the wrapped head pins so they aren’t scratchy.
* For extra security, add a dab of glue to the knot at the end of each silk cord. Add a crimp and crimp cover.
