Tools and supplies: scissors, chain-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, side cutters, crimping pliers, chasing hammer, utility hammer, antiquing solution such as Win-Ox™ (#86-343), 1/8" alphanumeric stamp set (#69-241-01), dapping block (#69-199), hole punch (#69-233), bench block (#69-123)
TIPS:
Stamp the metal disk with the letters of the four compass points. Dome and patina.
* To create the flat-bar links, cut four 2" pieces of 14-gauge copper wire. Hammer one end of each wire flat, punch a small hole and add beads, as pictured. Repeat hammering and hole punching on the second side.
* For an antiqued look, patina the charms and flat bar links.
