Designer Tips:
- This design uses circular brick stitch to weave a row of 6mm firepolish beads and size 8 seed beads around the outside of a 3/4" antiqued gold link.
- Stitch back through all the beads a second time to further secure them to the link.
- Add an inner row of tiny pearls to the inside of the link, securing them to the threads of the brick stitch foundation.
- Further embellish by weaving in three rows of 2mm pearls and size 11 seed beads to the outer edge.
- Add three beads (pearl, size 11, pearl) and string through the size 8 beads, continuing this pattern all the way around the outer edge. The size 11 seed bead has a large enough hole to weave a second row through it.
- The second row consists of 4 pearls strung through the size 11 of the previous row, again repeating this pattern all the way around.
- Add one last row. Add three pearls and again string through the size 8 beads. Repeat all the way around and make sure the pearls are added to the same side of the pendant.
- Use overhand knots to keep the pendant in the center of the ribbon, and to attach the hook-and-eye clasp.
