Ode to Ip - Necklace

A free necklace project featuring a Vintaj® art deco dragonfly sewn to a textile pendant with a round spiral hook-&-eye clasp from Rings & Things.
This piece was inspired by the work of British textile jewelry artist Charlotte Dickson.

2 #88-106-21-0 24mm Vintaj® filigree rings, natural brass
1 #88-109-02-0 35x47mm Vintaj art deco dragonfly pendant, natural brass
3 #03-700-08-21 8mm SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS margarita sew-ons/beads, light siam
50 gm #20-002-3218 Toho® seed bead Cocktails™, bloody mary
12" #61-443-39 3/8" velvet ribbon, scarlet
Tools and supplies:
size 10 bead embroidery needle (#69-017-10)
extra-large-loop scissors (#69-043)
size D SuperLon thread summer flower assortment (#61-719-03) – use orange color
sewing machine
fabric, rickrack, ribbon, thread, buttons (from fabric store)
TIPS:
*The tiny points of the scissors (#69-043) allow you to closely cut the fabric.
* Create a fabric pendant with various colorful layers of fabric and ribbon.
* Attach the beads and art deco dragonfly to the fabric pendant using the SuperLon thread.
* Finished length = 18".
