TIPS:
* This rosary follows a traditional rosary pattern. A traditional rosary necklace is made with specific number of beads in specific locations, to remind the wearer which prayer in the rosary to pray next.
* Use 3 strands of beading cable in each grouping of prayer beads.
** Use three 12" strands for each “decade” (sparkly beads) section. Use three 6"” pieces for the short “opening prayer” section.
** Use three 3" strands for each “Our Father” (skull beads) sections.
* The necklace portion of this rosary measures 56". To change the length, alter the amounts of seed beads. Seed beads separate the large beads in the various prayer sections. String an equal amount on each strand. Choose an amount that is visually pleasing. Keep in mind that the more seed beads used, the longer the rosary.
** For the decade sections (sparkly beads), string 6-10 seed beads on each of the three strands, and thread all the strands through the sparkly beads.
** Each of the three sections of the “Our Father” segments uses approximately 20 seed beads. Vary the location of the skull beads.
* Make large loops at the ends of the segments and connect with the loops of a next segment before crimping.
