Kissed or Caged Pearl Sterling Silver Necklace

Perhaps it's no surprise that we liked how colorful this wire-wrapped necklace was since Rachel says "I do a lot of painting and weaving, and decided to combine them to create this caged or 'silver kissed' pearl design." Rachel started with garnet freshwater pearls, pink freshwater pearls, bronze freshwater pearls and garnet SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS crystal bicones. She wrapped these colorful gems with 24-gauge dead soft sterling silver wire, which Rachel says "was a dream to work with." She finished the necklace by creating her own hook clasp out of 20-gauge dead soft sterling silver wire. ... Are the pearls kissed or caged? You decide!
