"My friend Sue Carr wanted a rattle she could wear—rattles are given to celebrate beginnings, so this was a very appropriate gift for her 40th birthday celebration! Making a rattle focal was a bit of a challenge since it couldn't be too big and cumbersome. Adorning the rattle with the right beads was easy with your African trade bead selection at the shows.” - Barbara Hanselman
