To Make this Design:
- Use an approximate 3" piece of wire to wire-wrap each crystal pearl. Make double-wrapped loops on each side (wrap tails around about 6 times), connecting directly to the leaf chain as pictured.
- Cut leather into 2 equal pieces. Loop each through a pearl connector, leaving about a 1" tail.
- Fold a 4" piece of wire around the leather and wrap the ends. Make sure to wrap each side the same number of times before trimming and tucking the wire ends.
- Trim the leather ends to your preferred length. Use chain-nose pliers to flatten crimp ends.
- String crystal on a head pin and form a wrapped loop. Use jump ring to attach hook clasp, crystal and two leaf charms to one of the crimp ends.
Designer Tips:
- The Greek leather is super soft and feels great to the touch. Plus it fits perfectly into the crimp ends - no mitering or forcing required!
- This necklace is approximately 17" long. Use more leather or chain to extend the length.
