NOTE: Amate bezels are hand-soldered. A plating is applied after soldering to create a more uniform finish. Baking, firing or otherwise applying heat may cause this plating to melt and/or discolor. For best results with polymer clay, do not bake your designs
in these findings.
TIPS:
* Use a pasta machine to condition and flatten the clay.
* Create a paper template of the bezel and cut the clay to size with a hobby knife.
* Embed watch parts and seed beads into clay.
* Bake the piece according to the clay instructions.
* Once cool, glue it into the bezel.
* Darken clay surface with metallic powder.
* Seal words or phrases with Mod Podge and place onto clay surface.
* Seal clay surface with liquid polymer.
