"I love taking mundane and utilitarian items that are just overlooked and thrown away, and turn them into objects of delight. Vintage TV tubes are wonderfully sculptural, and the fact that Cheeze Whiz actually had a "lite" brand just cracked me up! My challenge was to securely attach the glass TV tube onto the jar lid. By using wire and E6000 [adhesive cement] I was able to accomplish this. This piece is from my Big Jar Lid Bling series of jar-lid inspired jewelry." -- Deborah S Serdy
