TIPS:
* Following the manufacturer's directions for Friendly Plastic. Information on the two techniques (fracture and fusion, and inlay) used in this design can be found on the manufacturer's website:
http://www.amaco.com/friendly-plastic-techniques-and-bible/
* Use the fracture and fusion technique to make the heart piece. Stamp it with a rubber stamp brushed with olive oil (to keep them from sticking to the Friendly Plastic).
* Cool until hardened, then cut the plastic into a heart shape. Seal with EasyCast resin. Let it cure for 24 hours and cut off any excess resin.
* Melt a rectangular piece of Friendly Plastic and impress the heart piece into it, using the inlay technique. While still soft, use a toothpick to make holes at the top corners for the jump rings.
* Friendly Plastic takes time and patience. If it doesn't look right at first, you can always reheat your plastic and try again.
