"This piece was one of the last ones in my Beaded Garden Bracelet Collection. Making it was a very exciting experience because it was unexplored terrain for my imagination. It gave me an opportunity to express my creativity in a whole new way.
"I used peyote stitch for the bracelet base and a variety of pearls, beads and glass shapes for decoration. The main challenge I faced with this piece was the lack of space for embellishment. In making Garden Bracelets, it is crucial that the bracelet be densely decorated, as the trim itself makes the bracelet take and keep an attractive shape. It took two weeks of work to ensure that the adornment was executed well enough to provide for the bracelet's aesthetic appeal." — Svetlana Hinkle
