On the Wings of Joy

Artist: Kelli Spandl (Tonasket, WA)
Honorable Mention, Mostly Metal

Kelli says of this necklace that "[h]ummingbirds have always invoked a sense of wonder to anyone who has had the pleasure of witnessing them. To Native American shamans, a hummingbird’s appearance always heralds a time of joy and accomplishment. We created this ‘light hearted’ necklace to reflect these qualities in the magical Hummingbird." The centerpiece pendant, complimented by crystal cubes and crystal connectors, was created by Kelli and her partner Gary using a unique, proprietary, five-step method. For more information on these unique charms, visit Kelli and Gary’s White Wolf Gallery online.
