A free chain-maille style eyeglass holder design featuring gunmetal and teal colored jump rings accented with aquamarine miracle beads from Rings & Things.

As seen in the Rings & Things Wholesale Catalog 2011-12
Created by: Melissa Rhoades

Suggested Materials:
1 pr #30-732-02-9 Vinyl eyeglass holders, gunmetal
16 #46-000-11-05 5mm 20-gauge niobium jump rings, teal
14 #37-167-9 8mm 18-gauge jump rings, gunmetal
132 #37-136-9 5mm 20-gauge jump rings, gunmetal
14" #40-099-46-9 5.1mm round double-link cable chain, gunmetal
1 vial #20-228-2117 Toho size-11 glass seed beads,
aquamarine opal/ silver lined (use 12 beads)
10 #27-824-502 4mm round plastic miracle beads, aquamarine

Tools and supplies:
Eurotool® 5.5" heavy-duty flush cutter (#65-507)
Eurotool chain-nose pliers (#65-330)
Eurotool bent chain-nose pliers (#65-396)
masking tape

TIPS:
* Use Tool Magic™ (#69-160) or masking tape to coat the tips of your pliers. This helps prevent scratching your jump rings.

* Save time by using double-link cable chain for the back of the eyeglass holder. This way, you only need to construct 6.5" on each side.

* Connect beads, rings and chain in the pattern shown, or choose your own pattern.

* Not all seed beads or miracle beads will fit on your jump rings. As long as you can get the beads securely onto the end of your jump ring before closing it, that's good enough (the beads do not need to move loosely around the jump rings).
