Art Clay Silver Pendants

Made by: Deana Garnes

The heart pendant was made by punching (with a paper punch) pieces of the (now discontinued) Sheet-type Art Clay Silver, and appliquéing them to another, larger punched piece.

The triangular pendant was made of original Art Clay Silver (87-001), following the technique in Project 1, on page 6 of Art Clay Silver Book 1. In this technique, you roll out a piece of Art Clay Silver, form the outer shape, then put a cut-out (or punched-out) piece of heavy paper on top of your piece, and roll it out again. When you remove the piece of paper, it has left an indented shape in the pattern of your choice.

The oval pendant was made by painting the Overlay Paste (87-026) onto an oval porcelain bisque pendant. This was meant to be a base for another project, but the other project ended up being too much larger than the base. So this will be something else someday....
