Created by: Rings & Things Staff

Suggested materials:
1 pkg #46-407-03 16-gauge Artistic Wire®, green (use 8 feet)
1 pkg #23-844-635 Czech glass size 6 "E" beads, blue zircon ghost (use 14 beads)
12 #44-499-0 25mm round brass disks, raw brass
2 aluminum soda pop cans from recycling bin

Tools and supplies:
chain-nose pliers (#69-271-03), bent chain-nose pliers (#69-271-06), flat-nose pliers (#69-271-08), round-nose pliers (#69-271-02), tungsten cutters (#69-271-93), metric combo circles template (#69-265-01), shears (#69-230), Eurotool® Wrap 'n' Tap pliers (69-262-L),Super New Glue (#60-270), E-6000® adhesive (#60-261), file, drill from hardware store, craft 1/8" eyelets and eyelet setter (from art, craft or scrapbooking store), utility hammer from hardware store

TIPS:
* Choose aluminum soda cans from the recycling bin with bright, colorful designs that are pleasing to the eye. You"ll need two cans for this project. Use shears to cut the aluminum cans.
* Using a circle template as a guide, cut 25mm circles to match the size of the brass disks. File edges smooth if needed.
* Glue the aluminum pieces to the smooth side of the brass disks using E-6000 adhesive. After gluing, place a heavy weight on the disks to flatten. Allow the glue to thoroughly dry.
* Use a drill to punch holes in the glued disks and add colorful eyelets with an eyelet setter.
* Create 25mm diameter jump rings using 16-gauge wire and Wrap 'n' Tap pliers. Assemble the necklace. To secure, add a dab of Super New Glue adhesive to each jump ring and cover with E-beads.
